School Mission Statement

As a Catholic School we at St. Mary’s strive to live as a Christian family and, in accordance with the Gospel values, promote the development of each child as a whole person.

"This is an outstanding school where pupils blossom both academically and personally" Ofsted 2012

Welcome to Euxton St. Mary’s Catholic Primary school. I hope you enjoy looking at our site, and discovering some of the work we do. Our aim is to make school an exciting, safe and happy environment in which the children can make the most of their talents.

Our school, with 215 pupils, is organised into seven single-age year groups from Reception class to Year 6.

The school has a very strong academic record as well as an excellent reputation for pastoral care. We were delighted with our last outstanding Ofsted Report, which commented on many outstanding features of the school.

You can contact the school by e-mail at bursar@euxton-st-marys.lancs.sch.uk . I look forward to hearing from you.

On the 26th January 2015, our school received a letter from David Laws MP, Minister of State for Schools, to congratulate us on our successful work with our disadvantaged pupils.

"It gives me great pleasure to write to you and congratulate your school on the improvement in the key stage 2 results of your disadvantaged pupils since 2011.

It is clear that you and your staff have provided your disadvantaged pupils with a good start in life and prepared them well for secondary school.

I would like to congratulate your staff, governors, parents and pupils for their hard work and success."
