Mrs Chester is the Reception Class Teacher and working with her are Teaching Assistants Mrs Thomas and Mrs Taylor.
Here are a few details about our class:
Our school is now only open for key worker and vulnerable children.
Here you will find the Home Learning for your child to complete.
If your child is unwell there is no need for them to complete the Home Learning, as normally work is not set when a child is ill.
We will be using some of the lessons provided by Oak Academy on behalf of the Department for Education. There is no work login required for this but you will also need the Active Learn login. You will find this in your child's 'Taking School Home Book'. You just need to click through the links provided in the weekly timetable below. It would be best to start with the work listed as Monday, as sometimes the work builds on the previous day. Here you will find daily lessons in literacy and maths, plus 'Understanding the World'.
We have already provided an exercise book for your child to record their work or they can use their 'Home to School Book'.
Below you will also find Home Learning linked to the current Religious Education topic.
As well as this, the children can also complete the activities on the weekly Reception Class Newsletter.
Remember to read stories with your child everyday.
If you have any queries about the Home Learning you should contact your child’s class teacher using the class home learning email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
